No 1 Twitter event in the WORLD! | 03/06/09 Today I was lucky enough to be part of the No 1 Twitter event in the WORLD for the 3rd June 2009... well that’s what Thomas Power said it would be... we’ll have to wait for the official stats but there was some serious tweeting and re-tweeting going on!! more

Baber Smith Marks & Spencer’s presence on our high streets is the most valued by shoppers as one in five (22%) of Brits vote the iconic retailer as the business they’d least like to see disappear from the High Street or go bust. The survey, conducted by YouGov, aimed at uncovering consumer shopping habits during the economic downturn, reveals that the majority (22%) of Brits would be upset if M&S, which this week celebrates 125 years in business, became a victim of the credit crunch and was forced to close its doors. M&S is joined by Boots (13%) and Tesco (13%) as the top three retailers Brits would hate to see leaving the high street. She said...To give you some background, in 2006 the Hall went through a brand analysis process which resulted in a new brand positioning encapsulated in the strapline, ‘Entertaining the World’. Since then we have had an overhaul of our print design and this has just been carried through into a completely new website. We wanted to move away from the corporate look we once had and bring some energy to the site; focusing on the fantastic events that take place here. more |
