Who’s Been Using Astrology and Why? Astrology is so much more than Sun signs in magazines and newspapers. Astrology is both a symbolic language and an observational science which lends to its richness and its usefulness. In Asia and India it is expected that businesses will consult an Astrologer before making major moves. Here in the West we haven’t officially come out of the astrological closet yet, although it is an open secret that a number of the World’s major financial institutions have an astrologer or two on their payroll! Early in the 20th century the American magnate J.P. Morgan proclaimed that “Millionaires don’t use astrology, billionaires do” Many other famous people can attribute the use of astrology to their success. More recently Anita Roddick of the Body Shop openly used astrology, particularly for the launch of new products. Even Bill Gates was suspected of astro-trading when he launched Microsoft’s Windows 98, at the auspicious hour of midnight on 25th June 1998. Astrology has been used in government and politics for Centuries. The Regan Administration and other political leaders have all relied on an astrologer for the timing of major events. Astrology also is used by chief executives for picking out trends, making important decisions and in employment. Astrology is less about making predictions about specific events than it is about giving you the “lay of the land” – proper timing. In my talk I propose to offer you the true value of astrology and show you how it can enhance your life both personally and professionally.
